This was actually a fairly grayish-green and monotone scene. I did some color tweaking to get to the look I wanted. I really like the paper of the sketchbook I'm using; it really helped with getting the texture and edges that I was after. I feel like I'm getting to a good place with my gouache landscapes lately, and that they are approaching the look of my oils. It has taken a year of working dilligently with the medium to get to this point.
