Those who know me well know that I'm not an early riser. This would probably change if I could roll out of bed and be on the beach 10 yards away from my door. I was incredibly inspired by my stay at Arch Cape; enough to drag my gouache set out to the beach and unleash a flurry of paintings onto my sketchbook in rapid succession. This was the first of 3 I made in one morning.
 
Though it was technically a vacation, I really am driven to create while within such beauty. I really do have a passion for the landscape that I couldn't surpress if I tried! I hope that you can find your place of inspiration as often as I do.
