We had to come back to the "superbloom" one more time! Took a ton of photos there, along with this quick painting from a hill nearby. Due to my improvisational setup, I had to paint this one a little differently than I would have otherwise.  I was tilting my paper away from me a lot, causing the water to go up the paper due to gravity. If I manipulated the paint at the edge of the water, it gave me some interesting soft edges. It's something I've seen a lot of in watercolor but I'm not sure I have seen used a lot in gouache. Really interested in exploring this technique some more!
