After an amazing hike after our photoshoot with Heather Martin's dogs, we decided that we had to come back the following weekend to the same spot. The weather was much different but still very pretty. Much warmer, so I had to find a shady spot. I had to forego some great views of Mount Diablo, but I still enjoyed the colors in the scene I chose. At a certain point, you have to toss realism out the window and just go for the feeling of all the mustards and thistles there.
