This was the 3rd of 3 I did in one morning. I like to work as quickly as possible with these sketchbook paintings. There is a mix of urgency and lack of preciousness that I feel when I paint in my sketchbook. I think it helps me improve as an artist at a faster rate since I consider these practice.
 
Though these aren't nearly as involved as my gallery work, I do think they show other aspects of my personality, because they show what I consider worthy of capturing in the moment. Sometimes that can be more honest than the pictures you plan for a long time.
