I was really drawn to the awesomely beautiful light in this scene. The shadows were starting to cover everything in the foreground, but a few bits of light kissed some of the top leaves as I painted the scene. Abstracting the vines and leaves seem to be the best way to depict the complexity of what's happening with the grapevines.
